About Winning the Peace

Winning the Peace is an independent strategy and public-policy publication examining how leaders and institutions convert security gains, public investment, and political ambition into durable order. It begins in Nigeria—with West Africa, the Sahel, and the wider continent as its immediate strategic environment—and draws on evidence from anywhere the same problem is being fought: how temporary gains become lasting peace. It writes for the people with the power to design better systems, on behalf of those who bear the consequences of the systems we have. Its work runs in two lanes—flagship Essays and shorter Briefs—with deeper Strategic Papers where a subject demands the fuller case.
